Working for a company that provides home care to seniors makes me keenly aware of the needs of seniors. Perhaps just a smile, a kind word, help with something they are carrying, or just listening. After all, they listened to use while we were growing up, so let’s return the favor.
Next time you see some seniors out (they sometimes meet in the morning at a fast food restaurant for breakfast), why not listen to them. Strike up a conversation, buy them a cup of coffee, a biscuit sandwich, just be there with them.
