In digging around while looking for something else I found a couple unfinished neighborhood charms. These were stamped onto book pages, cut out and then placed on top of scrapbook paper. I then painted the rummikubs on the sides and back.
I have finally reached success with Diamond Glaze via a technique suggestion I read in Cloth Paper Scissors. It mentioned sealing the images before you top with Diamond Glaze or resin. It said that unsealed work creates spaces which creates the bubbles. Since reading that I have made several pendants using it and sealing what is underneath first with no bubbles. It worked!
I love it when that happens, don’t you?
I had reached the point that I gave up on the Diamond Glaze, but now with my new tip it is worth picking it up again. Best of all there are no brush marks on the top image.
