Betty was one of those fabulous 50’s housewives of the Harriet Nelson era.  She always dressed impeccably being sure to wear her dress, pearls and heels.  She also wore her hostess apron whenever friends came over for a visit.  She always had a little treat to share, something fresh baked and fresh from the oven and she always had coffee brewing.  Fresh, aromatic and piping hot.

One thing that was Betty started to notice that with each cup of coffee she started to resemble the coffee pot.  Little by little her body began to change and her hips started to expand, he bottom started to spread and her tummy was a bit more rotund.  Yes, friends, Betty had gone to pot!

This ATC was created for the Yahoo Fantastic Flat Paperdolls August ATC Swap, Coffee.  The background is scrapbook paper with an image of a vintage lady and vintage coffee pot added.  I added a brad to Betty’s torso so she can fold down to make the card ATC sized.  I added a bit of tulle and some ribbon to make her apron.

These are the goodies I received from my partner, Kim S, for the Coffee swap.  I love her Parisian coffee card.  She also sent along an exotic teabag, a kitty postcard she made and a recipe for Wild Blueberry Tea Bread.  YUM!
