It was a very wet and rainy weekend.  I kept repeating to myself, “April showers bring May flowers”, as I dodge and try not to curse the raindrops.

The mailbox was dry and shiny and it heldDSC00883_0 some great mail over the weekend.  Remember when I mentioned Jan and the brooch that I admired?  I received the brooch on Saturday and LOVE it.

She added a little crown.  So I have lovingly named her Sad Princess Kitty.  Isn’t it the most awesome image?  So quirky and cute.  It makes you want to scratch her under the chin to try to make her smile.

She also sent along an ATC that she created and some fabric.  I already have some thoughts for the fabric for another 1:1 swap I have to finish up on.  Stay tuned.

Thanks, Jan!  The Princess is awesome.   Stop over to her blog and check out her flickr page to see the other awesome creations Jan has made.

I had some luck also at the Goodwill over the weekend.  I found this pictorial history of The Little Rascals

I have already used some of the images while creating ATCs for a 1:1 swap.  Stay tuned to see what I made with them.

I also found a 1954 world atlas.  It has some great vintage maps which will be great for backgrounds.

Hope you found a rainbow over the weekend, too!
