Some days it is a real pleasure to open my mailbox.  This past week was one of those times.  First I received my goodies from Geri for Roxi’s Summer Swap.  I wonder if you could hear me squealing as I opened the box?  What an awesome package I received!

I received fabric, some handmade tags, a necklace that she made, trims and ribbons, a little box of buttons, some note cards, a dragonfly mobile, and an embellished composition book with fimo clay faces on the outside.  It is an awesome notebook and I cannot wait to use it.

DSC01047I would have taken the mobile outside to get a good hanging pic, but it about 1 bazillion degrees outside and it is unbearable to go outside.  Take my word for it, it is lovely!

Thanks, Geri, for the awesome goodies, I love them all.  If you want to be reminded of what I sent to her you can see it here

Then there was a surprise in the mail from that Oregon elf, Heidi.    She teased me with an e-mail to wait and see what she did with the ballerina image I posted here.  So I kept checking her blog and flickr pages to see what she made, but time passed.  Then she arrived in the mail.

DSC01053 DSC01052 I love it!  She made me a soldered pendant with that image.  She also sent along one of her Good Girl tags.  I loved that tag, too.  She posted it and it was love.

But wait there is much more mail goodness that I received.  Scrappy Jessi contacted me about a 1:1 swap.  I put hers in the mail at the end of the week, but I received these 2 ATCS from her.

I love the vintage images and the Barbie images.  I used to be quite the Barbie collector back in my youth.  I think I had 100’s!

So that I don’t spoil her surprise, I will post what I sent her later in the week to give it time to arrive in her mailbox.

I also forgot to post the latest Etsy purchase I made from Vallen’s shop and the paper stack I bought from Magpie Mary

NEW 125 Piece Scrap Paper Stash

Great haul, no?  I bet my mailman was cursing me as he heaved the packages onto the porch!  I love weeks like that!
