Kiva and I were talking about how cool it would be if we could all get together and go thrift shopping. Since logistically this is impossible we decided to do the next best thing and start a virtual thrift shopping trip! We would like for all of you to join in.

This is what you need to do in order to participate:

Thrift shop (and you thought it would be hard, right?) anytime between today and Sunday, January 13th.
Leave a comment on this post to let me know that you will be playing and a link to your blog by Sunday, January 13th.
Post the button above on your site to let everyone know that you are participating and to help spread the word.
Post your treasures on your blog on Monday, January 14th. Be sure to link to (if available) the shop you found your item at, the cost of the item and what you will do with/to it.

It will be just like we are all shopping together without the monstrous crowds. I can hardly wait to see all the great finds and to “shop together” for one glorious day!

Now get shopping!

Fun idea! I’m hoping that I’ll have some treasures to post about.

I finally got to go thrifting yesterday, after more than 2 weeks without setting foot in a thrift. (It was Nathan’s first day back at school. Yippee!)
I looked high and low, but couldn’t find anything that I was even remotely interested in. Oh well, maybe next time.
